Self Portraits
As I paint with my fingers I find that the features of the face become more nondescript, that they become less important to the whole picture. I think that this helps my paintings develop more as a representation of the essence of the figure and then possibly as a truer picture. In this painting I found myself scrubbing and blotting away the distracting details.
